What a privilege,
What a joy,
A lifetime of love,
To enjoy!

Keep them close,
Your little ones,
One day they will go,
And be bigger ones.

Your job will be harder,
When they are not closeby,
Your worry will be greater,
When not in your watchful eye.

Such an all-consuming love,
For these tiny people,
The Lord gave you them to guide,
He makes all things possible.

One lonely morning,
One emotional day,
One painful memory,
Fading away.

Years pass by,
A new life, new family,
One longing still there,
One hope that I still share.

That Fatherly care,
Strong arms holding,
Wake me up from a dream,
Imagining again it would seem...

Gone but never forgotten.

It is a sad day,
For those left behind,
It will forever be,
Burned in our minds.

But truly we should remember,
The beautiful family fun,
The wonderful Father,
The loving husband and son.

Shaun was an amazing man,
Brother and friend,
To those who knew and loved him,
A prayer of courage and strength.
