Dylan

My strong, happy, kind boy,
You are an example.
You take pleasure in sharing,
A piece of cake with your friend,
A sweet here and there.

Full of confidence and joy,
Energy abounds in you.
You are such a sturdy rock,
That Hannah can grasp hold of,
When she is about to fall.

You are my delight,
And with each passing day,
You astound me more,
With all you know,
And how you continue to grow.

I am so blessed with a wonderful son.

Grasp mine,
Expectant eyes,
Hold my gaze,
Laughter and smiles,
Giggles and wriggles.

A miracle you are,
A blessing from afar,
You are my light,
In the dark of night,
And a ray of sunshine,
When storm clouds are near.

I love you with so much of me,
It hurts to think one day,
You'll be so grown-up,
And leave to go your own way.

Oh how I cherish these few moments,
That are your baby years.
